How to password protect a PDF

- 3Download the protected PDF and open it to confirm the password works.
Questions
Do you store the password?
No. It is used in this tab to encrypt the file and then cleared from the form. It is not sent anywhere.
Can someone remove the password without it?
This tool will not. A password is not a guarantee against a determined attacker, and viewers differ in how strictly they honour the permission flags.
