RS Labs is a digital initiative by RS, operated by IWW Steel Industries (PVT) LTD.. This policy describes the tools at https://labs.rs.lk.

Files and text

Tools run in your browser. PDFs, images and anything you type are processed on your device with JavaScript in the page. They are not uploaded to RS Labs, and there is no account to attach them to.

Closing the tab discards that working copy. A file you download remains wherever you saved it.

What the site request contains

Loading the website requests its pages and scripts, like any other site. That request does not include a file you later drop onto a tool. The theme you choose is stored in local storage on your device so the next visit can match it.

Analytics and contact

This version of the site does not embed an analytics tag and does not set tracking cookies. The contact form opens your own email application; the message is not stored here. You can also write directly to steel@rs.lk.

If a later tool needs a server, or if analytics are added, this page will say so before that change is silent.
