How to resize an image

Questions
Does resizing reduce image quality?
Making an image smaller discards pixels, so fine detail is reduced. Enlarging an image cannot invent detail that was not there. JPEG and WebP also use a quality setting, which you can raise if the file looks soft.
Can I resize images without uploading them to a server?
Yes. The picture is drawn onto a canvas in your browser and the new file is created there. RS Labs does not receive the image.
