Saved on your device

Both sites can save a theme choice in local storage, under the name theme, so the next visit can match light or dark. It stays in the browser. It is not sent as a record of who you are.

tools.rs.lk can also save a random id in local storage, under the name rs-labs-visitor. Finishing a tool sends that id with the tool name so the site can count use. The contents of a file are not included. Opening a page does not create a count.

Clearing it

Clear site data for labs.rs.lk and tools.rs.lk in the browser and both values are removed. The sites still work. The theme returns to the device setting, and the next finished tool can create a new random id.

How files and messages are handled is on the privacy page. Questions can go to steel@rs.lk.
